We had a lovely Christmas. We decided to have a goose instead of a turkey and it was stunning. Our family are all in SA so we didn't have to do the family obligation thing. We invited friends over and had good company, good drink and mostly good food (except I burnt my friends lamb 
) New year is likely to be a quied day watching television repeats.
