Hypatia I have been dealing in the dreaded poinsettas for over twelve years now and that has to be the definitive guide as to how to care for them! Superb young lady and worthy of a slot on gardeners world!
Personally I hate the perishers...and do they perish or what?! No draughts please, perfect watering or else, don't let the children touch the sap et alles et alles. I won't have them in the shop until Christmas week. They are so overgrown and inbred now that the life expectancy of a supermarket variety is no more than twelve days...now a glass bowl filled with sliced limes and moss and planted with white hyacinths and decorated with larch...is something else...my kind of Christmas! Great article. I really think you should put that Jazz in his place though me girl, he is too bold by far!

I love poinsettias. They're so beautiful. I can't imagine Christmas without them.

I will have to check Jazz's feelings towards them before I make a committment. He is a bit bold, but he looks quite dashing in his beret. I've always been a pushover for a man in a beret.
