Mr. Christopher, enjoying the Magicians Guild game where he is called Polonius Franc, Elder Healer and local merchant

I am now standing in the stately League Chapel overlooking the Field of Honour Cemetery. With unknown reasoning, all action taking place in the Chapel are in present tense.

Because of this, we are expecting the sermon to never start on time.

"Here I am camping out in the basement while the world goes to Hell. Trust me, GB, I am finding a way to save The League."

Thank you, but tell me, how did you find this convo?
The mutineers are based in the lab, and they say they have liberated the library, so I put a lock on the door to keep them out.

He went on vacation, which sort of allowed the others to start this conflict.

Well, not too long ago, there was another website. It was much like our beloved h2g2, even being founded by Douglas Adams and using the same server software that enables h2g2 life, DNA Database Technology. However, the content was very different. On h2g2, people are free to do and say what they want (within BBC reason) and so there is much silly time and play and glee. The Collective was a much more serious site, that is to say it was based on current affairs and politics, and a man named Astrotomato openly attacked H2G2 for being silly and pointless and said that we would be crushed by our diversity. After a short flame war on the h2g2 front, Godben led an invasion of The Collective and caused a bit of commotion. Then there was a peace treaty and Astrotomato removed himself from h2g2. You can read the treaty here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/A2130553.

As you could imagine, after a week or so of arguements among Collective, H2G2, and neutral parties the system was rather shocked. Godben though it would be a good idea to build a League of H2G2 to promote unity and fend off attacks from rival sites. We, the League, was meant to deal with external matters, not internal. League armies were and are never ment to fight or to aid conflicts between groups on h2g2, though diplomats could be used as unbiased mediators. The goal was peace, not war. A prevention.

That sounds like a good idea!

We all though so. Then Godben and Khamsin started a little play-fight based on their standings in other military organizations elsewhere on the site, for as you have probably realized, h2g2 has many many many-many clubs. Now a small rivalry threatens to breaks up the League.

Before I forget, BLT, do you think we should invite Stealth to join us? He seems on the side of the League in the Library.
