This is a brilliant game, although I don’t know if it belongs in the EG. Maybe you should set up an “Adult Eye Spy” club where people can go to play.

Are you thinking of a botched kidnapping?

Clubs are easy. Simply rewrite the entry into the rules for a club, mark it “not for review” and post the clues on threads. Invite other people to join and play. For an example you might want to look at the Pythonists Society A1046701.

I've decided to adapt this and I'll change the entry to reflect this. I'll give the situation and you have to give the I spy with my little eye bit...

"World War 1
"You'll never hit Archduke Ferdinand from here."" Just seems to have been tacked on the end for no reason...

You're right - I've turned it into another example, cheers.

The version we used to play was
'I spy...something beginning with W'
'Wardrobe' (this is going in in a bedroom, by the way)'
'Okay. My turn. I spy....something beginning with F'
'Oh, it's not the f***ing wardrobe again, is it?'

There's also the A & T version in which it would be something beginning with A (or something beginning with T) and the answer would be A wardrobe or The wardrobe.

How about a compromise. I love this game and thinks it sits well with many of our other game entries. So why don't we pop this on its way to the Edited Guide, and when it hits the Front Page, people can start a 'club' underneath it
