Or something like that. This is the Russian version of the Bill, I guess. Small department. There's the chief: he's sort of bumbling and then a little team of plainclothes. I think they are supposed to be fighting organised crime. One is the blonde Russel Crow (but taller) of the department plain, slow moving and quietly effective. And the other useful one is much sharper (looking and acting). One of them is a fairly young and attractive woman. Another is a bit of a ladies man. And then you've got the lovable homespun type. It's sort of played for laughs at times (think 'Frost') or at least the camariderie aspect is played up: at some point they all sit around and drink vodka and bond, and the boss sneaks off early to tend to his vegetable plot, but on the other hand, they don't mess about when it comes to graphic scenes of mutilated bodies or shootouts. I've lost track a bit cos they keep changing titles and channels, but it's still the same crew.
