Swimming To Jupiter 3: A Yellow Submarine
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted May 10, 2000
::grabs controlls::
I hereby dub this ship...
...ideas anyone?

I was thinking of dubbing it the "Sub-Editor", and then thought, "No, that's just plain silly. The late Dr. Grahame Chapman wouldn't have stood for it, and neither shall I!"
So I hereby dub this ship... the "Er... Yellow Submarine"

Ahoy boat. Is there room for one more?
Swimming To Jupiter 3: A Yellow Submarine
Bluebottle Posted May 11, 2000
There's always room for one moe, depending on what the "one" is.
But as it's one Human, and a particularly Courteous human at that, you're always welcome.
So, where abouts is the Sea of Green?

Well, for the Sea of Green you have to sail out to the Sun. As we want to get to Jupiter, I think we'd better let that Sea go -- it's in the wrong direction.

Thank you all.
*pops aboard*
Right so where are we off too? Still Jupiter?
Swimming To Jupiter 3: A Yellow Submarine
Bluebottle Posted May 11, 2000
Still Jupiter, I guess, but when we get to Jupiter in 2 forums time, we could turn around and go somewhere else, like the sea of green?
H2G2's our oyster.
Not that I know why we'd want it, or the world, to be our oyster. They're ugly looking things...

Is that a Peter Pan reference, or a Blues Traveler refference?

Really? I remember one time I had 6 symulposts in a row - that was freaky.
Still, all sorts of things can happen on a Yellow Submarine.

Those were strange days BB weren't they. Some of the early doughnut stalls were like that for hours on end.

Maybe someday. I've just found out a dear friend of mine has just moved to Southampton so no doubt someday I'll make it there and possible get on a ferry as well.

Well, ATM I'm pretty much staying in Southampton and not the Island, but if you ever do come down, be sure to send me an e-mail letting me (and the others know) and we'll say hi.
Are you going to the meet-up?
