crickey! hassle or what? I have the same problem with uni computers (thats why i pursuaded my dad that i couldnt live without a laptop...) and totally understand.. sorry BB!

I'm not really sure if it's the same principle as ICQ as I've never been able to run ICQ. What I do know is that you essentially download it from here:
http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com/
and then you need to have a yahoo ID. If you have applied to Yahoo for an e-mail address then that one's fine. You just download, log in, add the friends you want, and then talk to them with a range of different colours, sizes, fonts and smileys. A fairly normal messenger service, really.

Well, I guess that's better than out to lunch I don't think w*** would be that keen on on me using ICQ and I haven't got round to downloading it onto my home PC. I seem to manage without atm .

I used to manage h2g2 very well before I got ICQ, not I multi-task on both a lot.
BTW who says only women can multi-task.

scientifically proven..... though that also comes along with women talk a hell of a lot more than men as well.....

It is probable that women are better at multi-tasking but it doesn't mean men can't do it. On the other hand, I totally agree with the latter part of the statement. Two blokes on the phone arranging to go out on Friday night - total time 30 seconds. Two women doing the same thing - total time 30 minutes.

aw... but thats what makes us so special!
and it is true that men can multitask, but apparently not to the same extent women can.... maybe i should take this up again when there are more women in the forum!

I think it's because women don't have a clue what's going on, and they hope that if they do lots of things at once, something will begin to make sense
Did I really just say that?
How about some ski-ing?

I'm with you.

*Gets on a snowboard and skis downhill, shouting to create an avalanche to bury his last comment before FC reads it.*

not fast enough BB..... grrr.. dont you know what happens when I get angry?
*FC grabs some snow, opens her wings fully, and gracefully glides down the slope after BB. Easily she catches him up and pelts snowballs at him*
well, not exactly the most sinister thing to do, but then I'm female... we dig our claws into men in other ways, especially when they arent expecting it...

Good idea BS See if you can convince any attractive male straight ski instructors to distract FC, otherwise I may be in trouble for a long time.

aw... poor BB... dont worry, it'll strike when you least expect it! In the meantime, all this flying's making me tired.... back for a drink?
though if there *are* any good looking instructors....

I need an extremely strong of something for FC - something that'll put her in a good mood and make her forget she was ever angry at me.
