As far as skiing or snowboarding, hmmmmm....dunno. Erm, problems encountered by DE and Bluebottle????? ah, what kind of "problems", exactly???? would broken bones be involved????? I HAVE heard stories...which is why I prefer the apres-ski bar...

...And I did finally manage to get the hang of ski-ing.

Well there are plenty of logs for the fire and hot wine or egg nog can be provided to get you into the spirit of things. But I must recommend the Black Bush a fine Whiskey from my homeland, of which there is a plentiful supply, although the bar is stocked with all the fine Whisk(e)ys from aroung the world.

And if you get too cold, you can always go down to the beach below and get a sun-tan.

Did you have a good trip? Well, other than the icy wings and all, of course. And yes, DD is .. erm.. aware of a mouse throwing snowballs.

The skis were a gift, actually, made to order (not my order, they were a surprise gift ) and just the perfect size. Cute, aren't they? Little white-fur-trimmed purple boots fastened securely on a pair of (I'm assured) the best racing skis this side of Denver (wherever -that- is). All smoothed and waxed to perfection.. Sure would go well down a slope. Well, it looks like they would, anyway. I haven't used a pair of skis since I was a wee bit under me Mum's knee, but they sure look nice being carried about, don't they?
