Now now, what is all this about donuts? Do the number of donuts we eat reflect our social status or are the merely a communication device? Tell me, I would like to know, as a budding donut researcher!

All I know is that this is the best place on h2g2 to get doughnuts, the menu is extensive and the owner (or her assistant) is happy to provide any form of doughnut you require .....though the jury is still out on my cheese doughnut for dunking in tomato soup

Yeah, maybe you are right. But it would be wise to point out a donut guru, to consult us in case of donut dispute. Just in case, you know!

What King Fabels was talking about, was a parody on a Newzealand tribal habit. There a people called the Trobriands, actually pile fruits in order to climb on the social ladder.
The chief, having recieved many fruits (yams), will then have a nice hut built for him to store the fruit in.
Agression and warring tendencies are vented by exhibiting their pile of fruit. Quite the lifestyle, isn't it?

I tried eveything I could think of, rescanning, editing chnaging the effects nothing, it's just a couple of tham are spoiling the whole effect.

Ok, let's be funny about donuts, but hey, donuts have less pleasant sides than the inside. One of them is that you can choke in one. I used to know a person who did. His last (legendary) words were ' I'll never eat donuts again!'.

Demon Drawer Posted Jan 31, 2000
Well if you're not here to buy why are you hassling those of us who enjoy our doughnuts and the pleasant conversation that used to exist around here.

Is it just me, or do none of the post articles want to load today?
At this point I'd remove the self service sign, but I forgot to put it up...
Donut anyone?
