Not everyone has house horrors - the house Peregrin, Roasted Amoeba & I are in this year is very nice, and we have a perfect landlord who over the winter gave us new carpet, new furniture, new windows and re-painted all the rooms, and none of us could see the need for it!
* My Blue Meanie mug was smashed, though. 
I loved that mug, it was my favourite.

Here its like... "We found this really nice house, we went to sign the contract but someone else had got there first," "I was going to live with so-and-so, but they're now living with so-and-so else, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do..." I didn't realise how bitchy the people around me could get... If we get this house we should be okay... We know the people who live there now and they like it... but still...

We might have to move house next year as Peregrin is thinking of moving out, and we don't know anyone who could move in. RA & I aren't sure if we'd like to live with Garfie, the other one in the house, next year, but you can't get houses for 2, and we won't have as nice a house as we have this year.

At least you're only looking to rent Joanna, I've got all the mortgage form and house brochures in front of me for the biggest purchase of anybody's life.
I think I need a IWA to mull over these choices.
