KELLIN: /\/- He does not have an embassy. At the moment he is merely a political thinking admiral. -/\/

L: The ambassador is using our flagship, the Hammerhead, as his embassy at the moment as the ship has been assigned to him as a bodygaurd due to terrorism active on Kamino

KELLIN: /\/- nevertheless the Ambassasdor needs a place of residence in the republic, namely Coruscant, if he expects to have a chance in Kamino representation in the Senate.

The ship he is travelling is too threatening to our border and systems.-/\/

L: Then i request that the ambassador have a large portion of his bodyguard with him whilst there. Outside of Kamino he is vulnerable, as Kamino is herself right now.

Would having the ship withdrawn to a satillite world be suitable?

KELLIN: /\/-The embassy ground would officially be kamino soil... so to speak.-/\/

L: Would there be any laws or senate imposed restrictions upon.. kamino soil.. or would it be under Kamino law, and therefore protected by any and all means necessary?

KELLIN: /\/ Any blaster shot that hit outside the embassy ground would become under Republic law but within that ground it is legally kamino. /\/

L: And in turn we would be allowed to responed in full? the situation we are facing at the moment is grave beyond reason Chancellor, i need to know that our citizens will be safe and can protect themselves to there full ability if need be

KELLIN: /\/ If the embassy were attacked you would not be able to declare war, no.

Kamino citizen's would be protected but that is the job of an Ambassador anyway. To make sure the needs of their citizens are being represented on foreign worlds. /\/

L: That is not what i meant.

If The embassy, or any member there were to be attacked, then i would expect full consent for the ambassador to allowed to track and kill anyone who performs such an act with the full resources available to him

L: But you have just stated that the embassy will be.. as you put it.. Kamino soil. I need to be assured my people are protected. i can afford no more deaths

KELLIN: /\/-True but I would not presume that any attackers would remain on embassy ground -\/\

L: Then perhaps a compromise. Having several hundred armed guards would not surfice and would cause bloody in the streets. If the bullet is fired from the embassy, yet the attacker dies outside, then it is legal. If the attacker leaves then only the ambassador is allowed to pursue.
