I've asked the Animation Factory to make an animated gif for me. They have passed the request on to their animators.
I suspect I will be getting a new scanner from Father Christmas 
I'm not sure about h2g2's artists. Can we request artwork for our articles?

Never look a GIF file (horse?) in the mouth.
Perhaps that's a good strategy - my attempts at drawing with a computer mouse look rather like my attempts at drawing when I was 4 or 5 years old.

Ack! Well.. good thing you're getting a new one soon.. We're all in suspense. Animated .gifs just don't seem the same.

1200 miles can not be called little. Of course the rest of the world - the other 96% - are used to Americans getting things wrong. They can't even run an election
