Thank's
It's always the same toe thet gets it!
I have a problem.
In the house where I live we have a tradition of having a thanksgiving-dinner.
Everybody (5 familys) participate in cooking, takeing turns in what part of the dinner to make.
I have so far during the last years cooked the first course, cooked the turkey and made dessert.
This year it's my turn to do the assesories; the potatoes and veggies. And here's the question:
How do one make sweetpotato-mash? Sweetpotato is a veggie I don't know!
I couldn't find an antry on this subject here.

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?) Posted Nov 24, 2000
Sweetpotatoe? Sounds familiar... Isn't that just english for "nypotet"? I may be wrong. I will roam the internet in a quest for this. Sweetpotatoe..

Hittil:
Sweetpotatoe = Søtpotet

Bluebottle Posted Nov 24, 2000
I've never heard of sweetpotatoes. Potatoes, yes - I can cook 'em, boil 'em, mash 'em, jacket 'em, barbecue 'em, roast 'em and probably even scramble them, but that may not help much with the whole sweetpotato thingy..
*Washes up, puts v/_\3 on, and hands Bumblebee the c)_( she ordered yesterday*

Thank's JAR
Looks like I should keep it simple, boil 'em and mash 'em. Salt and pepper perhaps. Cream. Maybe. Hmm....
Ah, that lovely tea, thank's BB!

Yer welcome. Beats accounting anyway...
Morning Bluebottle! Nice to see you. And just in time to pour me one, before lunch.

*pop*
Phew! Meeting and lunch done with! Just two hrs. left now, then I can go home and start "preparing" for our infamous Christmas dinner...(I think that's the right word for it, perhaps you know BB? It's when all the employees in a company gather to eat food and get drunk, with the excuse that Christmas is just around the corner.)
Oh, and I'd love a cuppa

"Infamous" sounds right for a work party/dinner
*Hands One-eye a c)_( of tea*
Sorry for a short reply, but I'm running off now to a lecture. See you later!

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?) Posted Nov 24, 2000

Everybody's free
Keep the big door open
And everyone will come around/~
A little Dave Matthews for you there.
