Mornin' Freedom, long time! Hello T! smiley - smiley to both of ya!

Is these quakes the price we have to pay for new smileys? ..or is something else going on....

*tries not to spill coffee, successfully thus far....*

This is too much!
*Looks out of the back-door*
Now Lil's ateliere's fading! And there is something's going on in Majic Forest as well.
Sounds like fighting!
I think I'll just sit here and keep watch for a while...

"Kringsatt av fiender" (="Surrounded by Enemies") spring to mind...
*makes sure all the windows are shut and blinded*
I've had a bit of combat-training, and my instructors told me that, basically, if possible, avoid combat. Let's just stay here, not shout too much, and hope it all passes....
*a new shine enters JARs eyes, as he prepares for whatever crisis might be 'round the corner*

Ping: Very important Thai philosopher once said "No nation have ever gained from a protracted war" We must take heed.

JAR: Uhm, he was chineese, and not really a philosopher, Ping...

Ping: Hrumph!

I've posted a message at Peta's page.
Come to think of it; I haven't seen any of the TPTB's online today.
Have they left the sinking ship?

(What a morbid thing to say!)
(Sorry)

No, Bumblebee, we must not doubt our leaders in these dire times... They are probably all busy at work, trying to make all the bad stuff go away. Yes.. that must be it...
*focuses on keeping the faith*

Nice coffee, by the way smiley - smiley

Master Ping, perhaps this would be a good time to compose a new soup?

I've e-mailed the h2g2-support, but no answer yet...

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?)

Ping: *Sits down on the floor, lotus position and begins humming ever so softly*
*is divinely inspired and begins chanting a recepie*

"I start off with chicken broth,
and when it is hot.
I put in Lemon Grass and steep
it like tea. While this is steeping,
I add one or two tablespoons
of Louisiana Hot Soss
-
-
for the heat.
-
-
When the broth is reason-
ably cool, I strain it,
and put it back in the pot.
While I am letting the grass steep,
I prepare julienne strips of white meat
of chicken, sliced mushrooms,
pea pods, scallions
and a little bit of bean sprouts.
Then I reheat the broth to a boil,
and immediately take it off
of the heat

and put in the rest of the ingredients.
In less than a
minute, the soup is
ready for serving.

Salt to taste."

Ping: *then furiously runs around collecting ingredients from out of the thin air, and brews the wonderfull Soup described above [thank you CatWoman, whoever you are], then slumps down in a chair, exhausted*

Oh, it's almost like my noodle-soup, exept I use lime-leaves instead of lemon-grass.
And noodles of course... smiley - smiley

Ping: *Too exhausted to respond*

JAR: I guess it's all right.. The good Master Ping has never been particuarly (hard word to type, that...) stingy with his soup..
And I see you have joined the rest of us in distress. smiley - winkeye Oh well, I read what Peta responded to Bumbles, uhm, complaint(?), and it seems everything should be in order soon...

Mmm, sounds delicious Master Ping, may I have a bowl, please?

I sent an Irish blessing to Kim at support, and now h2g2 seems to be working reasonably for me
*keeping fingers crossed, just in case*
