[Mog] Yes, I suppose you're right. Now where's my albatross?
[Kopek] [hands Mog an albatross-shaped popsicle from the IIEM] Kupo.
[Mog] Ah, thank you. [eats]

Yeah, too much cold and snow in december and only misery from january to march. Rain clouds are appearing in the sky atm. I hope it'll rain here today. I am not so fond of drought too.
The week is done soon!

The city buldt a new water reservoir inside one of the montains,(right under my house!) it got finished last year, so hopefully drought won't be a problem this summer. And they have changed a lot of the old pipes. Before they did that, ca. 60 prosent of the water just dissapeard through cracks in the pipes! No wonder we had a drought every time it stopped raining for two weeks...

I've had a busy week, what with the Jubilee and my sister getting married...
And I ran out of money, so I couldn't afford to go to an internet cafe until I got paid today!

The World Cup seems to be getting to everyone here - just because England has been put in one of the toughest rounds this time round, and are now up against another of the 7 World Cup teams that have won, the infamous Argentina. Few people have forgotten that the time before last England played Argentina they beat us by the infamous "Hand of God" goal - ie, Maradonna punched the ball into the net, and the ref declared this offence a goal. Very dodgy...

Sweden just won over Nigeria 2-1 I have to cheer on Sweden because Norway isn't in the games this time.
It's sort of nice because I can cheer on whoever I want this way.

Most people I know are cheering on Ireland. I mentioned this in another thread where an American researcher replied by telling me that I'm not allowed to as I'm English and apparently the English hate the Irish, and the Irish hate the English. That doesn't sound very friendly to me... Very strange...

Curiously enough, if Senegal, Japan, China, Korea, South Africa and a couple of other countries win the world cup, I win £50...
