A Conversation for Apologies and Complaints

Very entertaining! But I do feel you undervalue the dedication and hard work of the UK's hardcore moaners like myself. Besides the apathy of the general public, we have to fight the Revisionists who believe that we should only complain when it is justified.
My late mother, with no receipt, got a store to replace a faulty watch which they were adamant they hadn't sold her in the first place! Complaining was an art form to her. A few weeks after this incident I found the watch receipt on a weekend visit - and she hadn't bought it at that store after all!
I showed her the receipt and remarked that she was wrong after all. But she tutted and shook her head. "Of course I wasn't. It was the principle!"
Now that's complaining.......
Anyway, an enjoyable and amusing read.

You should be proud of your mother, it is her sort that made this great nation what it is.
