Introduction
A recently retired archivist, I am interested in Pre-History, History, Politics, Far Eastern Culture/Philosophy/Art, Football, Music (rock/country/folk/classical/jazz/blues).
Among my favourite artistes are - Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Tom Russell, Lucinda Williams, Tori Amos, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Mel Torme, Peggy Lee, Sonny Boy Williamson, T Bone Walker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Handsome Family, Little Feat - better stop there for now, but the list is endless...
I like writing poetry, song lyrics and short stories (for fun), and enjoy crosswords and puzzles - as a cure for insomnia!
I have five grown-up children and three grandchildren.
Other: Favourite poet - TS Eliot
" composers - Chopin/Beethoven/Puccini/Thelonious Monk
" band - Pink Floyd
" question - Where do we come from?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
