Looking for attention?
Point number two in what you'll need: wouldn't it just be easier to say that you need cups that are stackable but leave some space between their bottoms when they stack - avoiding any anatomical innuendo.
>>Wave you magic wand, or just wave your hands in a suitable magical way, and say the magic word 'abracadabra'.
- Mention that it won't work unless you say the magic word - or have the audience yell it. Or is showmanship not part of the lesson?

If I'm honest, I don't think this will work at all - not as it is described, any way. I can't imagine that you'll find an audience who will not insist on making sure that all three cups are empty.
So I'd suggest that you hide the pompom in the palm of one hand, let the audience see that the cups are empty, and then, whilst stacking them them into one another secretly drop the pompom into the first cup. Then set the stack on the table whilst positioning the pompoms. Then go on as described.

Having a magician in the family, that occured to me - sort of. I know magicians always show the cups to the audience to show that htey're empty. The pompom can be palmed into position afterward, though.
Unfortunately, the magician in the family never told his secrets, so I still don't know he did that after demonstrating empty hands, empty cups, and sleeves rolled up to his elbows.

Okay, I was hoping it was going to be fine once I'd tidied it a little, and made the instructions in the original Entry clearer. Looks like I'll have to discover some more secrets of the magic cups trick.

Oh wait - I remember seeing this fake thumb magicians wear. If they roll their hankies or squish their pompoms and don't waggle their thumb much, they can hide stuff inside and keep their hands and sleeves empty.
Of course, this is getting beyond the basics.

I've finally got around to updating this. I have in front of me 'Mark Wilson's Cyclopedia of Magic', according to that, the instructions in this Entry are more or less correct, but need a little extra explaining.
I've run out of time now, will try to finish updating soon.

Right, I've got the book, and my reading glasses, I'll just get a and finish this. It's daft that I've left it this long, from what I recall, it only needs a sentence or two added.
