A1981578 - The Role of Environmental Damage in the Fall of Rome

It certainly is a new theory, which I thought I mentioned but maybe forgot to. I tend to get most of my information from books rather than websites, so I usually give a list of books at the end of entries for further information on the subject rather than links. I haven't even looked to see what websites there might be on the subject.

Do you think you could do that here? I do think it would add to it greatly. Also if their is a site for further information many people might find that useful and interesting.
Perhaps a small section putting the theory into context might be useful?
And perhaps a small summary of the other theories of the decline and fall of the roman empire.

I think you need to break up the first part because that is like a huge block, also you could do with more than 1 new line on each part....try two new lines, split the first into new lines.
Also explain what you are talking about a bit better, because you need to remember that not every body realises history when they see it.

I would however be concerned if anyone mistook an entry in the Edited Guide on the subject of the fall of Rome to be on anything but History.
Perhaps you will want to note that everyone else who has commented has said that they understood it. I personally don't think that you need to "explain what you're talking about better" at all!
Dozdim, was there any specific points that you felt were not well explained?

Thank you for the commentary. Dozdim: I tried to make the basic history as clear as I could, although I will admit that a basic overview of Roman history would be useful (in a seperate entry). Perhaps if you could explain what you found complicated it would help me to correct it.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Thanks and drinks all around. I've been out of town for a while but I'm hoping to start revising some of my weaker entries soon.
