DNA's crunches rising
The Duke of Dunstable Started conversation Nov 6, 2003
Either his computers are turned on again by somebody, or another user is sending his/her crunches to his account. In either case, it's nice to see. I think I'll start my Seti @ Home up again and upload my crunches on his account too.

Well, me among quite a few people, I think. I'm not responsible for ALL the crunches listed on Douglas account after he died. Seems like more and more people has picked up on it, thinking it's a neat idea. Well, at least I think it is...

I'm new to SETI@home (well, I've known about it for a long time, but only now have a computer powerful enough to run it)... So, how do you contribute to Douglas' account? It would be amazing if we actually helped to detect something; and somehow I think he'd be happy that we continued to keep his account running. If something is found under his name, well, what could be more fitting?

The crunches are sent to an account based on an email address. Change that to [email protected]. That was Douglas email address, and the one he used for his own crunches.

Whoops. I see now that you need a password nowadays, to upload to an account other than your own. Didn't use to be like that back in the days.
