(shyness has never been a problem)
mari-rae, great to see you, and your goodies!
It seems you've found the door!

Hi Luna! Yes, why? Was there one missing?
Is there a nice large lurking behind the new bar and grill? I've developed a terrible thirst getting all the way back here again.
= parched for drink smiley

Hi mari-rae, those brownies look lovely, may I try one?
Which direction do you want to start in, Marv? It isn't likley to be dangerous is it? I've got my crossbow, just in case.

I rather doubt that we have much to fear in this House of the Brownie. I say, let us go through the door that Mari came in. Let us see what lies behind it.
V&T was it not?
Shall we, fellow Phreds?

Thank you, your lordliness! Yes, v&t was right!
*Hands out the brownies to the rest of the Phreds and turns, being nearest, to open the door that she just came through. There is a long darkish hallway behind it with a high ceiling lost in the shadows of the great beamed arches of the Church. The floor is uneven stone with sections of slate bearing carved words describing the graves of the ancients who rest beneath them. Two doorways lead off on the left, a winding stone staircase leads up, and there is an arched opening at the far end of the hall.*
That opening down there leads to the stables. That's where I left Emma.

This place is huge!
What's behind those doors?

If I recall correctly, as I cannot read this blueprint, that door should lead towards the groomsmens quarters, and beyond that, into the blacksmithy.

*Still relishing brownie shake.*
Will this expedition be mostly underground, Marv?

*imagines what the kitchen must smell like - doesn't like the smell of cat food*
*thinks pleasant-smelling thoughts: fresh-baked brownies...*

I have a large air freshner block, sea, so the kitchen smells of lemons when I'm not hard at work cooking for the men folk Now that teh poor old girl can eat the food, there is never any left to make the kitchen smell
I do have a very sensitive nose and smell gas leaks before anyone else. So if we are going underground and I start to sneeze or cough, you'll know the air isn't good. Bit like a miner's canary

Hello, Courtesy.
What about this door? *Opens a side door that reveals a winding stone staircase going down down down into utter darkness...*

*a noise from far below echoes, sounding remarkably like a toe being stubbed on a stone step, followed by what could very well be a voice saying, "Oh, bugger!" in pain*

Sounds just like me when I stub my toe!
Shall we go and have a shufti?
