Hi Milos
I need to get this On the way.
Are you saying that it is a peice of value in its own right or as an introduction in a University entry.
If so I need co writers for the more detailed enrties.
If it is on the other hand ok as an entry on its own what more dose it need to finish it.
Bob...

*cough*
Er, cheers for pointing me in the direction of this thread (I'd almost forgotten how to use h2g2 in my absence!), just to say that despite my prior absence I'll be happy to help shore up this entry if need be (though I'll be a little busy until the end of May, what with my dissertation, three essays, one commentary and one exam to deal with between now and the 25th) - hopefully the past two years have taught me a little more about the courses!
If this does end up being part of a larger University entry that'd be wonderful, but whatever the case I'd be happy to give a hand - but it would be useful, as Bob says, to know exactly what to be aiming for, and thus what data to evolve - depending on what's needed, I could help with: details on the subject's relevance, more details about what the courses aim to teach, what subjects have particularly caught the minds of scholars in the fields (well, Classical Civ & Classics - I'm not so hot on Ancient History or Egyptology) in recent years and times past, or simply more information about important figures/issues within said courses (again, with a bias towards Classical Civ & Classics).

It would be a good introductory page for a Uni Project. And it would also make for a decent entry on its own, I think. It just depends on how much work you want to do on it.
Regardless of which way you go with it, the formatting needs to be cleaned up a bit (your lists, specifically), and I think it would be worthwhile to include something on why someone would choose this course of study, and what could be done with a degree in the field?

Wow- is that the shortest entry you've ever written?
It's late Bob, and I've just been on to recommend my third entry of the week with... 1 hour and 15 minutes to spare, so I haven't got time to read and give you an intelligent opinion now, so I'll come back to it tomorrow and let you know what I think.

I would second that suggestion - I studied Classical Civilisation so I can see the potential of this Entry as a sort of 'glossary of terms' and there are quite a few h2g2 links that could be added to it
bob is over here U15004181 now, though...
