I tried it once - a local mini-brewery made some ... rather disturbing. Mind you, their chilli beer was good ....

Re: Chilli Beer: Wouldn't the alcohol from the beer nullify the effects of the capsaicin (the stuff that makes chillis hot)?

Young's Ram Brewery in London produces an Excellent Double Chocolate Stout. It's not so much of a stout really but more of a mild made with chocolate malt and yes, real chocolate. It comes in a bottle with a purple label here in the States, so I'm sure you can find it somewhere in the U.K.. If you can get a cask for the pub Menz, I'll pay for it and the chocoholics won't have to leave.
