If you can't spend an hour-and-a-half listening to their music, what can you do?

Menza Posted Oct 28, 2000
Well how do you know if you like it or not if you can't listen to it.

But I knew I liked it anyway as I was going to buy it if I hadn't been distracted by a Paddington Bear

That Paddington, hanging around music shops distracting innocent fairies. He thinks he's the only one who hasn't had a TV series in years.

No see, it wasn't a real life Paddington as I think he works during the week days at Paddington Station in the café part serving marmalade sandwiches but some fool let me in Hamleys whilst we were in London which meant that I had to buy a Paddington as I was going to get a talking Bagpuss but then it sounded like he was burping so I decided against that as I already have a talking womble and too many talking toys may become excessive despite the fact that the batteries are going in the talking womble and so now it sings "Remember You're a Womble" at an extremely low speed and sounds kinda like Cher but it still provides amusement and they didn't have a talking Paddington so it seemed the safest bet especially as the train I got came into Paddington and I needed something to commemorate the day that I'd spent the lunchtime with Jenson Button as whilst I had a Personally Signed Limited Edition Presentation Car I couldn't help but feel that as I'm keeping it under lock and key with more security than a very highly secured place I needed something more tangible and the Paddington in a bag seemed like a good option as it was cheaper than the HUGE Paddington which was actually on sale in Paddington Station which is how I didn't have enough money for the Moby CD as I had to buy the Paddington...

And I've just got back from the Motor Show so I'm still a bit excited about the bright lights and all

All of them
*eyes widen more*
My TVR was still there...and shiny red Ferrari's...and SUBARU!...and Jaguar...and BMW...and Mercedes which wasn't good but they had a three tv screens and a large ban with pictures of Mika and DC celebrating wins which read something like "Anticipation, Adrenaline and then Sweet Victory, 1998=Mika, 1999=Mika, 2000= Congratulations Michael and Ferrari"

No SUBARU!
*points out the Richard Burns affiliation means she'll never say a bad word against SUBARU!*

MGBGT, anyone?
Also, I have to mention that one of my friends has a Triumph Dolomite Sprint, which is rather impressive (though maybe not on a par with these dream cars).

I don't have the TVR but it doesn't stop me calling it mine when I see it every year
There were Triumph cars at the motorshow, very nice too...and the new Elise...
*checks to make sure Ian isn't listening*
...was stunning But the stand was wrecked by the half nude women who knew nothing about the cars and had to fetch a bloke across to help if you asked anything...
*sits quietly muttering to herself*

... yes, I find it really irritating that with magazines and motor shows, they always put these stupid looking (half-nude) women in front of everything. Spoiling the view completely
Mmmmm TVR.... *drools* .... Elise *drools some more* .... Triumph Sprint *drifts off into a fantasy world* .....
I do have a little Honda bike though... It's very cute and it's blue and it's all mine
