h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's frequently self-service, whenever the cook is busy or not here. I'm not staying up for midnight feasts, you know, but I do keep the larder well stocked with all sorts of goodies for regulars to pick through.

I only ever announce the specials board, anyway, the regular pub cuisine is always available.

You have no idea how much there is in the freezer. The entirety of h2g2 couldn't consume that much in the duration of Rupert.

*belches voluminously*

You'll find the freezer is now not as well stocked as it once was.

*lifts an eyebrow and a small popping noise is heard in the vicinity of the freezer*

*opens door*

*closes the door, as a waft of ice-age air cools the room*

*hands Menza a hot cup of leek and potato soup*

now that I've HAD my scary interview, dinner tonight is of an Indian style. There's a selection of curries, rices, breads, dips, some popadoms, pakoras, vegetable dishes and the like.

A panel of 4 interviewers at my very first proper interview for a proper job and one that I really wanted and have wanted for the last 5 years... Nerve wracking. It went okay I think. There were some difficult questions Will know in early December.

Interviewers are, of course, the third most evil species in the universe. I'm sure you did fine.

Now then..... curry.

curry... is one of the great comfort foods, like chocolate, ice cream, cake and even pizza.

Pity my boyfriend (whose parents are Sri Lankan) won't eat any curry at all ever.
