I notice also that you are listed as researcher with Peregrin as editor. My submitted article just has me listed as editor.
So I offer my congratulations

Generally I think when the edit button dissappears that means a Sub has got it for editing. It may or may not get approved, I think you just have to wait for the e-mail. Still, fingers crossed

*takes several deep breaths and returns, still shaking slightly*
I had an article sub-edited by Mr Peregrin which has now vanished, and hasn't been seen for over a week. I think it may be some kind of trick to get me to vote for him.

IanG and Dr E V, what are your articles called? I can tell you now whether they're approved or not if you like.
And I'd like to reassure everyone that I am not linking my presidential campaign in with ANY of my ACE or SUB duties. That would be going a little over the top. And the day I go over the top is the day porcupines start knitting...
Am I in the Forum & Firkin or the Aroma Cafe? *mixes beer and coffee to be sure*

My article was the one on Kevin Rowland's "My Beauty" album - I think the idea of Kevin Rowland in a dress may have put the editors off.

I've accepted both of those. It's possible that Anna will reject them but unlikely.
IanG's was in my last batch and EV's in the batch before that. They should both work their ways through the system... I've just sent IanG's back so that should be fine. EV's seems a little late but should be OK - if nothing happens within a week, ask me again. The time it takes seems to be wildly variable.

Thank you sir - can I get you a drink for your trouble?

*looks fed up*
*places cordless drill on bar*
My ICQ client is bust. I'm going to have to fix it.
please. For medicinal purposes.

Here, these should do the trick.

EV, I wouldn't say no to a double whisky...
speaking of whisky, when's the beer festival that you were advertising? (my train of thought is whisky > Scotland > Dr E V > Beer festival, if you were wondering)

*nips behind bar and steals \__/ for Peregrin*
The beer festival is, I believe, on the same day as the Edinburgh get-together, so I am contractually obliged not to mention it.

Don't mind if I do, DD!
Congratulations on winning twice.
Please ignore the weaponry. It's not what you think.

No, that would be too easy.
On a different matter entirely, my User Data box keeps on disappearing (the blue box on the RHS in the alabaster skin). Anyone else noticed this?

Errr.... *goes to check* No.

It's very inconvenient to lose the edit button and the preferences button. Especially since my esteemed employer keeps on changing the nature of his free gift necessitating adjustments to the text of my page.

Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive Posted Jul 18, 2000
Perhaps that problem is related to my ICQ problem. Oh dear.
