Seen as how I didn't get booted out last time thought I'd do it again.
Go Schumi...oh wait...darn smiley - sadface
Never mind Jacques in 4th will do me and I reckon DC in 1st should suit Dr E V, congrats on your victory smiley - smiley
Wasn't it weird without Murray though? I reckon this should stop everyone moaning about him being past it, can't wait for his returnsmiley - smiley

And the Euro 2000 final tonight, what a day for sporting fun, who's everyones bets on? Reigning World champions France or undisputed kings of equisite footie Italy? I want Italy to win but I think I might be going with France as they have Zidane and that great goalie.

Weird without Murray. Aye.

However james Allen did a good stand in job.

Get well soon Mr. Walker.

He dislocated his hip either at or just after razzing around Goodwood on a very nice bike, he'll be back for Austria thoughsmiley - smiley

What do we reckon then, has Mika Hakkinen lost it or what?

I saw him rolling round Goodwood, but that sounds a bit painful.

Personally I never thought he had it but then that would lead me down the road of Damon Hill and his Williams so I'll not go theresmiley - smiley

I still think I'm slightly bias due to his foul sunglasses but I never thought he was that aggressive, sure he's a Formula 1 driver but I wouldn't class him as a Formula 1 racing driver. He has immense skill and can put together storming laps but he doesn't seem to cope if he's not in front and can't keep putting in his quick laps, once he has to overtake he tends to slow down...but that's just my thoughts on the subjectsmiley - smiley

Take it your quite chuffed about DC's win then? Was a great move on Schumi but in order to show support I have to point out he was having engine trouble at the time...I have to admit that I'm even starting to cheer for him to win, and as an ardent anti-Mclaren, pro-Ferrari fan that's a big thing, he seems to have changed for the better this year and it was great to see him display "unsporting gestures" todaysmiley - smiley

Well I just finished watching the highlights, and what a great race it was! Shame I missed the full version. Seeing DC get past both of those Ferraris was glorious when I'd got into the habit of thinking that the F1 rules required that overtaking was only allowed in the pit lanes these days. smiley - smiley

Evidently the Ferraris weren't on the pace, but it was still pretty impressive - Mickey Cobbler usually manages to squeeze a whole load more out of his car than his team mate, and yet Coulthard got past him too, when we might have expected him to be fazed by his bad start.

Wasn't it nice of DC to wave at Schumi like that? Funny he didn't use all his fingers though... smiley - bigeyes

As there isn't room in the cockpit to have one hand tied behind his back, I think DC was just indicating that he was intending to drive with just one hand.

Is that what it was? Some said he was checking the wind direction but I thought he might have been showing some spirit...ah well it'll be back to shouting Go Schumi next racesmiley - smiley

I think that's pretty much what he was trying to shout actually, although I believe he was using a more colourful phrase in place of "Go". smiley - smiley

Well perhaps, but I was thinking of a synonym (well, kind of) for "Go" in its sence of "Go away". smiley - bigeyes
