Anyone seen my ? It's getting a bit sticky underfoot in here. When do we get to start a new conversation?

I thought they would hate each other and I didn't see the last half hour and therefore the last 4 goals.

It was all very strange... Slovenia were 3-0 up, Yugoslavia had a man sent off, and then Slovenia let in 3 goals within ten minutes... hmmm...

Hmmm indeed. But then I'm the only one that is suspicious when a little club plays a much bigger club in a cup competition and it's a draw -- necessitating a replay with big gate receipts.
I'm a very cynical ant, aren't I?

So it would seem!
Somehow I don't think this match was fixed, though... they might have fixed a 0-0 draw, or even 1-1, but staging a 3-3 draw would take a bit of work!

I'm sticking to my theory.
I'm also sticking to the floor. Can't we start a new clean forum? It takes ages to navigate to the sharp end of this one. Is there a technical reason why we can't have a 'newest posts' link as well as the newer posts link(s)?
I still can't find my glass. Another please, barman. The witching hour approaches when btinternet deems it necessary to kick me off the net.

Meanies aren't they? Do they realise how this affects our lives? We should sue.
[I should point out that I've had to pay to submit this. Cut off in my prime, I was.]

Me too, but hay its only money.

I'm sure I got you one of these earlier.
Anyway if you add " &show=100" to the end of the link to the forum it will show you 100 posts not 20, and the number can be varied accordingly (I'd use 200 for this forum, its getting a bit long). Please note the space before the ampersand, it won't work without.

Thanks for the tip. That's easier. I should have thought of that.

Really? I've taken to sticking "&skip=80&show=200" without any spaces. Gives you the best of both worlds - skips older stuff, but still shows you everything. (On this thread; the What Is Love one has more messages than that now!) Seems to work without spaces for me. Maybe it's adding the "skip" that does it.

To be honest I was only told it didn't work without the space, I haven't tried it. The system is clever enough so that when you tell it to show 100 and there are more posts than that. the "view newer" button skips all of the first hundred and shows you the next hundred. Which is very handy, and doesn't take too long to load.
Anyway, I'm off to bed. Night all, help yourselves to whatever.
