You're doing sterling work there DE I'll have a I like the new extension DD, but she *did* have to drop a *lot* of hints.

An interesting strategy, not sure how successful it will be if my own past experience is anything to go by .

I just got back from one... two and a half hours work sufficed for todays
I have another approved entry, the photoelectric effect, 'cept its not on the front page, and for some reason its supposed to be related to the one on the Turin Shroud, which I don't see...

congrats Menza.
Joanna, the turin shroud was tested using lots of different dating techniques, I know they used carbon dating and I think thermo dating, not sure about photoelectric effect being used in any of the techniques though

Have you read the Turin Shroud entry?
There's mention of oxygen atoms being given enough energy to break away from the skin and cross the air to the cloth. The photoelectric effect is similar in giving electons energy to escape those potential wells I seem to remember from A-level. It is a slightly tenuous link though

I read the turin shroud entry; thats chemistry. The photoelectric effect is physics. I don't believe the processes are the same at all... it only has the visual thing as a link, I don't really think they are related.
But anyway, an approval is an approval, please?
