Menza! Long time no draught.
I haven't been in the F'n Nameless for some time, but the conversation hasn't changed. I still think my F'n Firkin is a good name. My other suggestions also don't seem to have evoked a smirk, even. There must have been a hundred nearly equally good suggestions. What's the real holdup in choosing a new name?
If there is anyone about I would like to buy all a drink (darn [is this OK, moderator?] I've forgotten the drinkicons) and encourage some movement towards a resolution.
drinkicons are on Latch!!

OK, so once again there is no-one about.
Latch leaps over the bar, pulls up a stool, pulls out a pint glass, and pulls a long pint of Adnams.
Now I remember why I like this place.
BTW, I posted the following complaint to my last posting:
>>
Please give details of your complaint here.
My complaint is that the writer (me) didn't
demonstrate the pointed humour and electric style
that I've come to expect from him. I also used
the word "darn". This is a clear and inexcusable
yielding to the presence of the moderators,
because I intended to say '===='. Oh shucks, there
I've done it again. I hope I will be suitably
scolded. It makes me feel so... warm all over.

...almost. I didn't really.
come on, where is everyone?

Well 5 hours ago, I was asleep.
As it was 4am.
as for why the pub is still namelass, thats because I still haven't made up my mind yet. But there are lots of ideas.
Maybe I'll put together a short list that people can vote on again.

Maybe if I just choose 6 names and don't allow any additions, then people can vote on those.

The Long and Short. Could be in Morse code. Dots and dashes, that sort of thing. Does anyone know Morse code for FnF?

So, who's going to put together a shortlist of names for consideration for a place on the shorter shortlist?
