Menza
I better do something about that campaign to get a cheers emoticon soon. Maybe it can be one of the Zaphodistas demands...

*decides he needs some more card, but has another first and holds up his "Thanks" card, then nips out to the local newsagents.*

Ey, about them zaphodistas... how many of you are there now?
Who's doing what?
Are you going to go down as another one to line up among the Greebo Appreciation Society, Church o/t true brownie and so on?
Or do you really have plans to reach your goals?

Indeed Abi (and how are you btw )
My point was that he shouldn't really need that many pieces of paper...

*returns with a pack of printer paper. Grabs a and proceeds to get rid of all his card, bar the "Mines a pint" and "Thanks" cards.
He opens the paper and writes "This is so I can at least carry on a conversation while my vocal chords get better. Hi Abi, Hi Raver, thanks for your concern." Holds up paper for all to see*

I think the chauk dust would just further irritate his condition. He may try to eat dry-erase markers so they're out. I for one am interested in how he can develop complex relationships with other people all over the planet without actually talking. Besides, I own stock in several large paper companies. I'm betting his vocal chords heal about the same time his carpel-tunnel flares up. Another for the road please Menza, its back to work for me.

*shudders at the thought of having his carpel tunnels scraped.
