There probably isn't a trademark problem with the really common pub names as they have all been about for ages. But I'd have to ban them on principal anyway.

How about the 'Forum and Fish' (or, 'Fish and Forum' which, in my opinion, sounds better), as in 'so long and thanks for all the F&F'?

Ah well, there you go then. They would have to be odd to come out of Oxford.

Feline & Froods
Seeing as someone just mentioned Kitty.
Fartleking in a pub is not advisable, it is the method runners use to train of going slow with intermittant short fast bursts thrown in. Or in the case of Kenyan steeplechasers it is how they run and is extremely difficult to keep up with them. So I don't see this being an advisable name unless Menza is going to cushion the entire place.
Fluids & Food to cover both the bar and kitchen. Also it is a word beginning with F which cover beer without sounding like fear.
First & Foremost hardly affected by copyright as it is a sailing phrase from way back when.
Flibant & Fanciful
Fun & Frolics
Feasting & Freindship

Cool, lots of ideas.
I think we should wait till the site goes live properly before picking the name though. Gives the other regulars who don't get early access a chance to get their suggestions in.

Well they left mine there, so it couldn't have been the word "Futtock". Which is just as well really.

Or would you like something warm for your cool autumn day Bruce?

I was going to suggest "Greg Dyke's Head", but I think the BBC may object.

We have a Member of Parliament whose name is Richard Face - he *hates* to be called Dick.
Can't imagine why

And there is another one gone, is someone just clicking the !Yikes button for the hell of it? I don't like having these holes in my fora, they disrupt the flow.
And I can't imagine why he wouldn't like to have his name shortened like that, he is a politician, it probably suits him.
