Hello there.
I'm just off for the evening, after getting one or two things done, including some changes to my space. I'll go take a look at your site again next time I'm on. I'll look forward to getting that response to my guess in an e-mail.
Hmm... if only there were a smiley...

Brain disfunction. Not your last post from yesterday, but one that must have been simulposted with mine earlier. Need holiday...

Take a break, you were saying you were going to leave us I certainly need a break, I realised that this time last year I was sunning myself in Turkey. My planned trip to Ramsgate doesn't quite have the same appeal.

No, not quite the same.
Have uploaded photos at last, but MSN has done weird things to them.
You're right... take a break... I will.

but not for to long, and don't forget your friends, new and old.
Tis odd how this comunity changes, sometimes someone is never offline and then they vanish. Me old friend Eomando a prime example, but then we all know her reasons (well you might not but I'm sure you can find out if you want to)
Oh, spliting headache so very early night.

I had a very early night last night... 1am.
Wouldn't want to forget my friends. Actually, one problem with leaving h2 is that there are one or two that I still only communicate with on site (no mail addresses) and wouldn't want to lose touch with. They are people who are rarely online.
I recognise Eomando's name, but don't think we ever really chatted. So I don't know about that. Many of my friends are from the early months of the site, when the same few people would always be on, and of course the Add. Clin. was thriving. Others are either ones I've introduced to h2 or have got chatting to regularly in various forums. Plus some I've met at the real-time meets.
Hope is feeling better today.

'Sus, a brief sumary of Eomando's h2g2 life, came online, stayed online almost constantly, mainly chatting to one chap - Paul Prefect, met him in RL, fell in love, engaged
Headache would be better if it wasn't for dreadful day leaving Bristol and modern technology, let me explain. Hire car had Trafic Master system and RDS thing so got road advice from computer and local radio. On the way it did help me avoid delay, on the way back I tried to avoid one delay (M5) got in another, got lost, got stuck, got lost, got stuck, each time I got stuck, just as I was stuck the local radio would cut in telling me of the delays I was stuck in
3 hours plus, to get back from Bristol twice normal time and shattered.
Lots of water then all the alcohol in the flat

Ah yes... been a lot of that on h2g2. I think Ginger the Feisty and Doug Dastardly were the first to become engaged/married. I remember other researchers demanding an online ceremony and live webcam. Good place to meet a soul mate and see if you really have much to say to each other before meeting in RL I guess. I reckon Internet relationships stand at least as good a chance as any other, if not better. At least the criteria the attraction is grounded on is more solid than 'appearance'. Mind you, I know of some people it hasn't worked out for. Every silver lining has a cloud.
M5 is never much fun at the best of times, in my experience. Is it really only a 1.5 hour journey normally? That's pretty good. Pretty much motorway all the way I guess.
Well I guess the water is good, but not sure the alcohol will improve the ...especially come tomorrow.
I've rented Sean Connery for the weekend... well, the movie 'Finding Forrester' to be precise, which looked really good on the trailer I saw. Same people as made Good Will Hunting.
Spent nearly 4 hours online earlier today, so better reply to my mail, post a few here, and head off before it gets really late again.

Be careful there, you may end up in another 1 am session, I have to stay online a bit longer before bed as I haven't finished my Scotch yet but you are right I may feel because of it
I have always been a bit sceptical about online friendships moving to RL of the few people I have met first online and then in RL I am running at 50/50 on the continuing to be friends side, I think there has to be some physical attraction to make any relationship, however little, if it ain't there then things are doomed.
I need to deStress a bit more so may shoot things on the PC frst before bed or stroke the she's being very cute at the moment wanting attention. Bit like me

Feel like someone's slammed it in a car door... oh, that was yesterday. Just started chatting on IM again, so maybe I will still be up... with X Files not on til 1.35am tonight, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
Has to be a physical attraction too of course, but if you've become friends first, you exchange photos, then the RL meet is the third step. At least, that's what I'd have thought. If you're just making friends, the latter two are not important (though it can help to be able to recognise each other when you do meet up!)
You're being cute too?

At first I didn't notice your final question mark and thought you were chatting me up, after all we've more or less exchanged photos (well I remembered I had seen some of you on someones elses site of a meet and re-visited )

Best not mention arranging a meet here then.
Oh yeah... should have added talking on the phone and possibly even snail mail to that list, probably prior to the meeting bit. Only briefly glanced over the Guide Entry so far. Ended up following an interesting link and wandered off...
Well, too long spent chatting again, and this chair is not highly comfortable. Did you get any replies to your newt enquiries? I saw you'd been inspired.
G'nite.
