You know, it's actually not far from the way many Germans pronounce English - oh, and if I look at what my sons write, it's not far from how they spell it, too.

My mom recently found a card I made for her when I was a kid learning phonics. I don't think a single word was spelled correctly, but you know exactly what it says!
