No I didn't, but I can't find anything wrong with whatever you did, so carry on.
Unfun is the exact opposite of fun.
Therefore, it suits the sentences - see, it's not fun, and you can make it less so - but with parallel structure.

No worries, Leo. I'm only pouting because you didn't accept my suggestion that the final word of the Entry be
'grave'

Me? A brute?
...
*plays with corner of sleeve*
Well maybe a little.
It is a charming idea, but changes the meaning of the sentence. However, if this thread makes it into Trin's Peer Review Archive your suggestion will be saved forever after.

A fight for the English language... yes, I'd like that. Trouble is, we'd never get beyond discussing the rules of engagement...... what with your uncompromising attitude 'n all.

Language is constantly evolving.
And we'd have a much sparser vocabulary if Shakespeare didn't make up words whenever he needed them.
Language is merely what people use to express themselves that is intelligable to other people.

Belligerence... on a Peer Review thread? Unthinkable!
So, you reckon it's Shakespeare, in round 1, by knockout?
Well, let me tell you something. That Mr Shakespeare wasn't all he's cracked up to be. Sure, he introduced some words that we can appreciate and understand now, but do you think that even one soul had the slightest idea what he was going on about back then??

More to my point. If some backwater playwrite can do it, why can't an h2g2 researcher? And while he fabricated them from scratch, I merely combined a word and prefix.

Go for it, Leo. I'll be on the lookout for your inventions.
You should realise, though, the extent of the power you have at your fingertips; many people will go to great lengths to cause offense, while you merely have to combine a couple of syllables...

It only offends purists and the very intelligent. Everyone else will just nod and pretend they understand.
