No, actually, I'm not an official member, but I am a sort of unofficial one. I've been chatting on the Undernet with a whole channel full of members for over a year now; the conversation is refreshing, especially compared to what can normally be found on the Undernet. Some of those folks invited me along to the AG in Long Beach, so that much comes from personal experience. I also let my Mensan friends edit this piece, so you can be assured the information is authentic.
I only recently found out that my old high school SAT scores qualify me for membership. I have to send away for them, but I will do so soon and then join.

D'oh! Well, I guess even would-be Mensans can a) make mistakes and b) misinterpret others' responses to their pointing out of said mistakes. If that made any sense to you at all, then we both ought to feel better now....
