Just out of interest, is membership of Mensa a permanent placement, or do you have to occasionally renew your right to be clever? It's just that I'm pretty sure I'm stupider now than I was a couple of years ago, and would hate to miss out on all the fun.
(Yeah, right - like I could find the way to the testing place.)

You only have to be brilliant once, luckily for me. You can find the accepted tests and their scores here: http://www.us.mensa.org/information/scores.html

Thanks for that. I'm slightly disappointed that my victory in the 1981 Local McDonalds Christmas Holiday Colouring-In Competition doesn't qualify me, but it was interesting all the same. I HAD thought all the tests involved games of Boggle.

Testing is one thing they take very seriously. But from what I saw at the AG in Long Beach, it is one of many things they take seriously. Most of the members were concentrating very heavily on drinking. Others were concentrating on members of the opposite sex. Some few managed to do both.
