Douglas Adams and 42

I consider myself to be a fan of Douglas Adams. Ever since I played Starship Titanic I have been interested in Douglas Adams and his works. And you might be wondering by now why you are still here reading this, well I've noticed something about 42. If you say 42 to any of the robots in Starship Titanic the robot will promptly reply with a rude "Nobody likes a smartass". Douglas Adams's user page is number 42. This is all the evidence I have as of yet, but if you know anything about this feel free to comment. I'm sure this is some kind of inside joke that only true Douglas Adams fans can answer, obviously I am not one of them. I will have more information on this interesting... ah well it's not even very interesting anyway, just come back sometime. Okay? ;-)
