Folks, the nice thing about having shazz for my editor is that she usually knows what I mean even when I don't.

I forgot to mention that Ben made me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to eat on the train to Leeds. Since I felt bad, she decided I needed something American to eat. A PBJ is certainly American, not to mention quite tasty.

Peanut butter?

To be fair Bagpuss, the peanut butter Ben bought didn't have the same flavor as American peanut butter. It wasn't as creamy and the oil was separating and it was a bit rancid-tasting. You need to eat the good old homogenized American kind.

I bought a jar of a new "healthy" peanut butter last week. I'll have to use it for baking cookies or something. It tastes pretty bad.

Is this another thing like coffee and Guinness where I'll like the proper version, but not the more widely available lesser version?
