I shall be back in a few hours and I expect someone to have got it by then. If not, detention all round.
In the meantime - this one's for you, 'sus :
"Every night in my dreams I see you I feel you"
(Feel the quality of those lyrics)

Previous posting was for Entropy.
As for you Frizzy... *rushes for bucket* One more stunt like that, and I'll take back those bonus points!!

I'm singing it now... well, more sort of la-la-ing it. If only some more words would come to mind...

Sorry 'sus
*hangs head in shame* not only can't I get the proper song. I can't get the right part of the wrong song, it's not in the chorus.
And to top it all off it seems I can't spell (TACTIC).
Back in a bit

Yes it is the Carpenters - and I've just listened to it again, and I'm afraid they don't sing the title at all in the lyrics... sorry. But well done for getting the next line spot on.

Don't you remember you told me you loved me baby? Said you'd be coming back this way again baby. Baby, baby, baby, oh...
*hem* Enough of that! Didn't think the title was in there. Go on then, put us out of your misery!
BTW Has anyone had a go at my Music Trivia lyric yet?

The Carpenters, Superstar - I think we can probably count 'Sus's (??) answers as utterly correct - virtually the rest of the song bar the title.
I've had a look at the Music Trivia but no idea as yet - not even vagualy familiar but I haven't read it out loud yet in all possible ways of phrasing it...
Next :
"I pulled into Nazerath, just feeling 'bout half past dead, I just need a place where I can lay my head"

Just looked again at the Music Trivia question and it is becoming increasingly familiar *bangs head against whatnot*

Can't say the head-banging helped me much, but don't let that stop you!
No idea on the new one of yours.

The Weight
The Band
"Hey, mister, can you tell me, where a man might find a bed
He just grinned and shook my hand, "No" was all he said.
Take a load off Fanny, take a load for free
Take a load off Fanny, and you put the load right on me"
Do I get to post one now I've cleared these two up?

Well done, that man ...
And make it an easy one, I'm actually shocking at this sort of thing, but having had a run of luck earlier, I have to try and keep my reputation...

I don't know what you'd class as easy so this is easyish.
"Do you remember a guy that's been
In such an early song
I've heard a rumour from ground control
Oh no don't say it's true."
I was going to just give you two lines but I'm being generous.

Frizzychick Posted Oct 16, 1999
David bowie, Ashes to Ashes - and I don't think I would have got it from just the first two lines.
How about :
"Bless my cotton socks I'm in the news
I lived in solitude, like Howard Hughes"

Old HH gets about a bit! Only song I can think of is one by 10cc, but as I've just put a CD on, am now unable to think of 'other' songs!

That'll be 'Reward' by The Teardrop Explodes.
How about,
"I had a soul transplant operation,
'cos my bypass didn't function,
So I'm keeping on my toes,
'til I see your one man show.."
???

Geez, absolutely no idea. I shall sleep on it (and hope someone else gets it right during the night). My brain hurts.
