Waxer, your lyric sounds like a song Phoebe from "Friends" would sing...
Someone posted a lyric from the song "I'll be your baby tonight", what?
My lyric was from "Big in Japan" by Alphaville. Eeewww...

Sounds like you're having a Midlife crisis thinking of that one. Or something _very_ similar.

Sting....
And while this is just a guess, is it
"Don't know nothing about me"???
Off the Ten Summoners Tales album

OK sorry,
I do'nt know the answer!!!
It's quite liderally on the tip of me tongue mate.
I agree about the confusing - posting-in-the-middle-of-the-thread -
When I read through all the entries (well most) again i'm sure they
had changed order.
Might just be me though!
Entropy was right with Midlife Crisis for my first lyric.
No takers for the "little ants" one?

Far too easy. I know I'm late, but I spotted that one instantly - comfortably numb.

I know it - I said it. I was just enjoying a momentary sense of smugness. Or was it a momentary lapse of reason?

I don't think anyone's closed this one, so:
Waxer's Madness lyric is from 'Uncle Sam'
My favourite lyric ever is from their 'One Better Day':
Walking round you sometimes hear the sunshine
Beating down in time with the rhythm of your shoes.
Anyway, I think that gives me the right to test you with the following:
And I cry. Oh my God do I cry.
I cry all the time
In this institution.
And I pray. Oh my God do I pray.
I pray every single day
For a revolution.

Arrrrgggghhhhh, I can even hear her voice as I read that lyric.
Suppose I could look it up on the net, but surely that's cheating

Thoroughly cheating, but I'm interested to know were you would have gone to find a title from a lyric. Sounds like a site worth a visit.

Ok I've done the cheating, but I won't give it away
To do the cheating all you need to do is go to your favourite search engine (I went to http://www.yahoo.co.uk) and in inverted commas (") I typed one of the lines you put, it then gave me lots of links with those lines in the page.
The internet, great isn't it
To prove it (I'm at work, and anyway I don't have a copy of the song)
Here's some more of the song...
"And so I cry sometimes
When I'm lying in bed
Just to get it all out
What's in my head"

Oh yeah - funny how you don't think of the really obvious stuff sometimes.
The internet is, as you point out, great
(slightly inaccurate smiley since my specs are much more oval than that.)
