h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

~Sits down on the floor. Realizes everybody is off to the party, which leaves him here by himself. Decides that it would be a shame if all the wood would be lying here without being used, so starts to build a fire. After a few minutes a nice warm fire is lighting the environment. Kheldar is thinking about all of this, and realizes he is lucky to have arrived just in time (by 6 weeks) to experience such a party spirit. He is in a melancholic and in a happy mood at the same time, and continues staring into the fire~

*Dr J ariives and wonders if he would like a mushroom () or two.

*rhythmic banging and muffled sounds of annoyance are heard from vicinity of the bus's baggage compartment.....BANG.....BANG.....(can't remember morse code)...BANG...

Please will someone let him out?
We've been wondering where you had got to BB. It's good to see you here on the farm.

*Helps BB stand to his feet and passes a long, cold drink to aid his recovery*

Ooh! I just love bonfires!

*Sits down and stares into the flames, just like a cat and strangely enough,is joined by several of Mari-Rae's farm cats*

This happens where ever I go! Someone once told me that I'd have been burned as a witch a few hundred years ago!

Baron! I'm so glad you're here! Don't scare my livestock, now. Shazz, Don Alfedo, everyone; welcome, welcome, welcome! Make yourselves at home. Fix a plate of food, grab some drinks and enjoy. !

*Joins Kheldar at the campfire and spears a marshmallow on a perfectly whittled pointed stick (thanks alicat!)*

Looking very good . I could really enjoy myself at a place like that. But since I already am doing that, that was a bit of a useless remark...

*alicat wanders back from petting the horses, and sees a group gathering at the fire. What a wonderful place you have Mari-rae. The fire was a perfect idea, Kheldar. * she sits in the ground next to Kheldar and spears a marshmallow. She thinks nothing could be better in the universe.*

The crackling fire and laughter rouse Phil. He walks over to the fire and sits down and like everyone else is soon mesmerised by the flames.

*is very happy about the cat coming to sit with her, starts caressing the cat and being very happy.*

Stokes the fire up with an armful of leadwood logs....cracks open another beer and lies back staring up at the carpet of stars above...i love evenings like this...the fire crackles and sparkles into life casting wonderful glow onto the trees overhead and everyones face...peace everyone..
