Agnostics

Liked the article. Just one addition: agnostics, rather than simply saying "Well, maybe there is and maybe there isn't" hold the belief that we,as mortal creatures, CAN'T know if there is a God or not. They say human knowledge is limited to experience, and since we have no way of knowing if we've experienced the divine, we have no way of knowing if the divine exsits.

Of course, in today's culture, the word is losing its true meaning, and has come to mean one who simply doubts whether or not there is a God,and therefore the current usage takes all philisophical strength from the argument.

I'm aware of this, of course, but I didn't come up with a satisfactory way to work that bit into the joke. Sorry. I might be able to find the snippet as it was cut out of my clipboard... smiley - winkeye
