Sorry, I've only just found this super article. You've really done a good job on the basics. What about the frilly bits like "Why don't the bad guys get punished?" or "Should I contribute to famine relief?"and I'm seriously thinking how to incorporate the ferret in 16 days time. Much better than the Peanuts thing with giant pumpkins because even less connected to any previous "religion".. Thanx again for the laugh.

This article was just designed as an introduction, and not a conversion attempt. Besides, I wanted to keep it lighthearted, and thoughts about bad people wouldn't have made it so.
My conversion attempt is entitled "The Failure of Christianity to Stand Up to Reason," and is a work in progress, because Christians keep trying to debate me on it, and they're giving me more fuel for the fire. Maybe not as enjoyable as this article, but it's already generated several hours entertainment for me.
Thanks for stopping in and saying nice things!

I too love this article. Now, when does Darwin the Ferret visit? We need this an annual event. What can we call this marvelous day?

There are no good holidays around the autumnal equinox, so we'll have it then. It'll let pagans modify their celebrations a bit and join in the fun. Evolution Day sounds kind of weak, though...I'll have to work on it.
