Picked it up, dusted it off - corrected a few things and added small bits - and now it's READY!!

Looks thorough but please lose the opening headers I'm sure there's a way you could live without them.
The "double quotes" need to become 'sinle ones'
Is there a reason why ZIM appearsin both caps and mixed case?
an unidenitifed planet --> unidentified
Johnny the Homocidal Maniac --> Homicidal
Nickleodeon --> Nickelodeon
and some korean guy --> Korean
Since the Almighy Tallest --> Almighty
Alex
PS I feel extremely sorry for Fillerbunny.

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am... Posted Sep 13, 2006
Nice to see ZIIIIM represented on h2g2... just one minor quibble though, I'd suggest removing The Doom Song from GIR's list of likes as he only actually sings it in the first episode.

Glad to hear that you like seeing the subject here, Mr. D. When I searched for it, I got a couple of hits; but the other researcher never got passed a title, whereas this one just needed some correcting.
By the way, I've seen at least three episodes where GIR sings the 'Doom Song', although he only prephases it with 'I'll sing the doom song now' in the first.
It seems to me, that in one version, he is singing it in extremely slow motion (under apparent time compression), like a 78 recording played at 16rpm (If you're old enough to remember what that means ).

I think this needs a bit of work before it's ready.
I've never heard of this before, and it wasn't until paragraph four that the entry told me what it was. Is the cartoon called 'Picked up' or 'Invader Zim'? I'm not sure from the entry.
What sort of cartoon is it? Is it manga? Comedy? Comedy drama? Slapstick comedy? Surreal? Satire? Is it for children or adults, or both? Is there a formula that a typical episode follows? What other cartoons is it similar to, or different from? What's the artwork like - cartoony, pseudo real, deliberately badly-drawn? Is there a deliberate story arc, or is it like a sitcom (returning to the starting position), or a bit of both? Does it matter if you watch episodes out of order?
I hope this is of some use!

Absolutely useful, OF!!
It's the kind of objective, first-time exposure thinking I feel we need so often!
I'll work on those specifics, joyously!
Vasquez, it should be noted, never saw his stuff as being for the truly young agers. It's far too, ... well,... too many people die horribly in it, or at least suffer horribly.
The Show is indeed called 'Invader Zim', it was only my use of a placeholder title after rescuing it that caused the confusion. My apologies for that.
I guess I'd initially describe it as a Surreal, SciFi, Slapstick comedy for young adults and up. A typical entry would either involve Dib trying to prove that Zim is an alien, or Zim planning a way to gain control of Earth and Dib trying to stop him; but don't hold them to that. Very cartoony. Artist notes indicate drawing the characters 'funny'. Complete absence of strictures of reality or physics, of course.
Thank goodness the episodes are almost all stand alones, although many seem designed to make you think you must've missed some.
Any thoughts on these opinions will also be appreciated as I try to integrate them into the entry.
THANKS ALL!!

I've made some significant changes, some based on suggestions and some that just occurred to me.
I'm feeling pretty good about the way this is going.

I'm not familiar with the cartoon, but the entry looks good to me. A few minor things:
What's the source of the opening quote?
"come to conquer earth" -> Earth
"and some Korean guy took over his position." -> I hope he's not reading this!
You mention twice that his home planet is Irk.
"He especially likes watching the Scary Monkey Show enjoys singing" -> ...and enjoys singing?
Why not put the Keef footnote inside the Keef section? (and it's throw, not through, if that's what you meant)

I've not heard of this one. Where might one catch it? It would be helpful to know where the show comes from and who screens it.

Nickelodeon/NickToons is mentioned in there somewhere.

Thanks, Icy, both for the hints and for covering for me!
Yes, if the questionor is in the USA, they can probably find it. I Googled it and found it at a site called Nick.com
It's much appreciated
Some of the things you pointed out I should probably have changed; but this was a pickup of another researcher's work and I am still struggling with maintaining some of the flavour and style of the original. Still, it reads much better now after your worthwhile assistance!

Gee Thanks, Guys!
I have just added that last bit that I felt was missing 'The bee'.
I do indeed feel that the responses were helpful, but that we are at EG readiness!
Thanks again,
