Membership of the Actor's guild. Having one proves that you are an actor, rather than somebody prenteding be an actor, which surely is acting!

Good entry, just one speling mistak... 'Chaplin' should be 'Chaplain'.

Something occured to me this morning:
"The tapping foot of the corseted mad scientist as he descended in an elevator in The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the first big screen glimpse of Tim Curry and is one of the most iconic in cinema history." is slightly innaccurate as Tim Curry also played the priest right at the beginning of the film.

You still haven't included his role as the (very evil) Clown Penniwise in Stephen King's 'It'.

An entry on Tim Curry need not mention ALL his roles, but should, if it's to be of any interest at all, mention his best and most successful. I wouldn't say the sidekick in Loaded Weapon 1 qualifies as either, whereas his role as Darkness (not the devil) in Ridley Scott's 'Legend' definitely needs mentioning. His voice acting alone in that movie would make it his best apart from "Rocky Horror". Surprised also that you didn't mention his role in "Annie" (hate the movie myself, but it was a pretty prominent role, much more so, say, than his one in Lexx or Earth 2 - I mean, who saw those shows?)

I saw Lexx and Earth2 ( although I must ave missed the odd sequel, because I can't remember Tim Curry in either of them, and he usually is somebody who is hard to miss).
Jon, I don't think the fact that you haven't seen 'IT' is reason enough to ignore the important role Tim Curry had in the film, especially since you mention him playing the 'bad guy'. But in the end of the day, it's your entry.

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

I remember him in LEXX, but I think it was only was one episode. His role in 'It' though, I think does need to be mentioned. "We all float down here" ( I still despise clowns to this day because of Tim Curry! smiley - laugh)

"a tribute to 1950s B-movies that went by the name of The Rocky Horror Show."

Were there a lot of 1950s B-movies that went by the name of the Rocky Horror Show? Just thought I'd ask.

Apart from that and some gratuitous exclamation point use, it's a terrific piece. Maybe the syntax could be polished ever so slightly.

Well done!

Even in bit-parts Tim Curry chews the screen up.

Yes, all films do not need mentioning but just because you have not seen them does not mean they should not be in.

Both 'Legend' and 'It' are pretty powerful performances in terms of weirdness and memorability. I agree with the comment above you never look at a clown in quite the same way again.

IMHO a guide entry should not be based on just what you know yourself or have seen but on the general agreed consensus from doing research etc.

Good entry though.smiley - ok
