We realise this is a terrible intrusion through the third wall of reality and normally authors don't make direct appeals to the audience, unless they are trying to be trendy and post-modern. Happily, we are neither trendy nor are we post-modern, but we are however, frightfully concerned that what follows might be confusing unless we take a moment to explain our intentions.
In order to spare you any confusion, you should know that h2g2 Storytime 3 was conceived to run chronologically alongside it's prececessor h2g2 Storytime 2. To date, there have already been some cross-overs referred to, such as the ascension of the mad monk Rasputin; the influence of his mind-control; the work of the 100,000 committee and Epimetheus Richter; The switching of bodies between the demonic Red Leicester and a small white cat and tinkering of Divine and Demonic beings in the fabric of reality.
However, what follows in Chapter 41 of h2g2 Storytime 3 is a consequence of the fate of one character who escaped at the end of h2g2 Storytime 2. Annabel Smittington, hand-picked appointee of The Cult, who was supposed to support Rasputin in his demonic aims, decided late in the day, on a change of career. By this point in h2g2 Storytime 3 she has returned to The Cult she betrayed via a convinient plot-device and with an ambitious plan in mind.
