Ok, seperate from a few over-arching tweaks I detailed in the first entry, there's not really much needs changing to this as far as I can see.

A short introductory paragraph showing how this stage of Ferguson's career would lead to near total dominance of the EPL, a CL victory, and result in him being knighted would be a good addition.

The first header should really read "Title Number Four"

I think that Yorke's actually a Tobagan as opposed to a Trinidadian, but I'm not too sure of that. Google should clear that up.

'Super-subs' should really be in quote marks when referring to the CL Final, and you could note how 'That Night In Barcelona'(TM) has entered into football folklore, at least in the mind of Clive Tildsley...

The headers should all have Number with a capital N and then the numbers written out in full.

"Sheringham was Manchester United's l>eading scorer in all competitions" needs to lose the > smiley - winkeye

When dealing with Veron, you could mention my favourite Manyoo memory. Skipping some quiz on a school trip to watch MotD (mainly to see us beat Leicester 2-0). The mighty Juan passed the ball back to no-one, some Boro forward (can't remember who) latches on to it and slots it in to my mirth. But you don't have to!

"2001-02: trophyless season" - Capital T and S

2002-03, I can't believe you didn't mention Harry Kewell's header which led to you losing at ER for the first time in donkey's years smiley - laugh

Your footnote number four's in a paragraph all of it's own when it should be beteen Howard and the full stop. Looking back, so is number 2...

"2006 World Cup this summer" lose the this summer. In fact the whole Rooney for England bit may work better as a footnote.

Other than that, in the interests of objectivity it may be worth mentioning AF's mishandling of David Beckham and Roy Keane leading to their exists from MUFC. In fact, if you add it into a section with the legendary "hairdryer" technique you could slap a heading on it saying Sir Alex's Temperament or something of the like.

Another good entry, and the two work very well together.
Psyc.

Wot no mention for Mike Riley ?

I agree with Psycorps you should mention his "technique" possibly also his time-keeping abilities.

Possibly sneak in an abusive mention of Pat Crerrand. - This would be a purely personal thing.

Well I might as well join the 'why haven't you mentioned' club. Not only did you not refer to Beckham's protratced exit, you didn't (unless I missed it) mention the surely massively significant retirement of Peter Schmeichel (sp?). There were other departures, of course, but nobody really wants to talk about Andy Cole do they?

Can I suggest a slightly more elegant title?

Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United (19?? to ????) (inserting the dates the entries are split to).

Hi Nirvanite smiley - smiley

I don't know anything about smiley - football or Sir Alex F, but I do know it's not Guide standard/style to start an Entry with a Header, (or a Subheader), the title acts as the first Header. smiley - magic

May I suggest you add a sentence or two at the top, as an introduction. smiley - oksmiley - smiley
