firstly, personal weapons have never been sufficient in Star Wars to damage armored craft. It takes an E-WEB to blow a TIE out of the air, and they almost no armor. The gunships I can understand, but troops require heavy multiply manned guns to harm ships.

Second, the size and guns have been the same since I fitst made this ship, that includes the mine ports.

third, the sonic charges are the same type used by Jango Fett, the big ones that blew up several kilometers of asteroid field, its not just a "deafening" weapon.

*Eversor's moniters tell him that the port tube is melted shut from the blaster fire, he activates the starboard one and drops two mines, one set to detonate close to the surface and the other to detonate high close to the gunships. They mines slide out of the tube just before it melts shut too*

*the ship bucks and drops down in between of the levels of the mines' detonations. The mines detonate at the minimum safe distance*

the Black Death is now over the ice plains, and its doing so very slowly

Quellen Regenerative armor is what was on the Teljekon Vagabond: the bigger the whole, the faster it fixes (its in the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy). it is Wars, the shadow bit could be likened to Mon Cal durasteel.

As for the troopers, you're trying to get me to beleive that men several kilometers away can fire accurately on what would to them be a black line in the sky. Even with sensors you have to realize that people aren't robots, the recoil from the blasters would screw their aim up and they would have to take time to readjust their aim. You also have to figure in the speed, what little it left, of the Black Death and the juking and jinking that Eversor is putting the ship through. If an infantryman scored a hit it would be by luck alone.

They started firing from a few feet away when it was stationary on the ground, or does that not count because it's not what you want, you complete ?>

oh no Psycorp, you just did it beautifully, by shooting not one, but two mines out of the air that were several kilometers away and traveling at several hundred kilometers per hour.
