How come I posted my word within 5 minutes of this week's Post being on-line (0225 UK time) and there were already several posts, as much as 35 minutes earlier, already up?
Not complaining, just curious.

Hi,
So, is there another way in to Word Play before The Post appears? I have always waited for The Post to come on-line and gone in that way.
Tonight I checked every 2 or 3 minutes from about 0100 and I didn't get the new Post until 0220.

Well they do need to put the content up before the post goes up otherwise people would start moaning at them for having dead links

Hi... all the articles in the Post are posted before we actually put up the Front Page for the current week... as already said... this week we were rather late due to one thing and another... so sorry about that...

Hi Kandyman
We do, indeed, keep all our articles hidden until just prior to 'going live'.
Some unscrup - - keen researchers seek out the Wordplay page we have prepared and keep refreshing it until the current competition appears, which is why a few slip in before the main Post page has being posted.
We *do* try to keep it until last - so whenever it appears you know <./>ThePost</.> isn't far behind.

Ironically, because I am usually still busy with Post stuff when Greebo puts it up, you guys can normally get in before me anyway! She never tells me when it's there and, obviously, I am tied up doing other things around that time.
Oh yes - many congrats on becoming a dad.

Unscrup....dedicated quiz addicts often look at the post archive and subscribe to the new page and as Shazz says, keep refreshing it!
Tough letters this week...What? I was just looking!!

They are indeed tough this week... to be honest me just looked at my keyboard for inspiration and choose every other letter from the top row on until me got 9 letters... ~grin~
It always amazes me though... at the words people come up with... we have a lot (including you Mort my dear) of very clever people in h2g2 land... me would take my hat off to them if me wore one...
